Pulling the Air Force’s many data sources into one powerful formation
Data Services

We developed a powerful suite of applications to allow US Air Force personnel to easily assess operational readiness and track thousands of mission-critical assets.

The Challenge
130+ data sources aggregated into a single warehouse
The U.S. Air Force requires round-the-clock access to information. In the past, there was no centralized way to communicate, and access to information required for analysis was distributed across many different platforms. As a result, the U.S. Air Force maintained thousands of inefficient and redundant systems, driving increased costs, and reducing efficiency and productivity.

The Results
We have deployed over 250 releases in the last 10 years for over 28,000 active users.
We transformed the legacy Air Force intranet into an organized, intuitive experience tailored to the individual user. Leveraging a reusable framework, we unified numerous legacy systems into an authoritative data warehouse, creating an enterprise view for logistic metrics, reports, and data analytic solutions represented in over 25 applications. We have deployed over 250 releases in the last 10 years for over 28,000 active users. The end result? A more efficient, effective and standardized Air Force with mission-critical information in the hands of airmen. In April 2019, Isobar successfully migrated the entire suite of application and services, 38 in total, to the Cloud One Microsoft Azure cloud environment.
